Over £1M raised for disadvantaged children

The 5th Caudwell Charity Ball, (in aid of the Caudwell Charitable Trust) is set to be the best yet, unifying elements of the 2004 Olympics and the return to their home of Athens.

Not only did dozens of well-known faces appear at the Ball in support of The Caudwell Charitable Trust, but the evening also smashed the £1m target. The Eternal Flame Charity Ball held at Broughton Hall on Saturday May 8th 2004 was a star-studded night of glitz, glamour and out-of-this-world entertainment - all in aid of sick, disabled and dying children.

This fundraising has attracted more than 1,800 people including popstar Darius, Darren Day, Kevin Adams, Tim Kash, Vanessa Feltz and Emma Noble.

Interviews with the attending celebrities, the Griffiths family and John Caudwell can be viewed on a special documentary made of the event by the Community Channel for SKY TV.

The Caudwell Charitable Trust’s objectives are able to be achieved due to the continual success of such acclaimed events and they now have the pleasure of inviting you to their prestigious next year and most spectacular Charity Ball.
