Mr Christophe Coppée from The Orbit bar, created 38 new cocktails in one hour! NEW Guinness World Record® Holder... This World Record is still actual until now (2007). As far as we know four people tried! None achieved it! The event made a prominent entry in the industry diary, with all proceeds and profits being donated to The Princess Trust Charity. |
The second World Record went to The Ice Box creating an 8’ 10” tall cocktail glass made entirely from ice and filled with 45 liters of cocktail specially created by mixologists Barconnect and The Orbit Bar, which was then served to our thirsty invited VIP’s at The Rock Garden.
We have promised you an unusual and fun event, that’s what you got!!!
With the help of Pölstar Vodka, Appleton Rum, Tuaca liqueur and Pago fruit juices, we were fully stocked to break two World Records in just one day…
The afternoon’s program of activity has been organized and structured to allow the public and invited guests to a packed time of fun, live music, spirit and cocktail tasting all running parallel to the main event and competitions.
The event took place from 12:30pm at The Rock Garden, located in the piazza in Covent Garden. The event was very much an appreciation of the growth of the bar industry and an opportunity to discover The Best Cocktail Bar @ Home, The Orbit Bar.
